Peace Paper engaged the community to share their diverse expression of peace.

Peace Paper was created to welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities to share their diverse expressions of peace, which are beautifully woven together in paper that highlights and inspires peaceful conversations and positivity. Hundreds of people contributed by creating artistic images representing what peace means to them, thru events thru the Minneapolis community. We combined the images into a giant crowd-sourced collage and produced rolls of wrapping paper with purpose. 100% of proceeds go to fund peace education in public schools.

Peace Paper engaged and partnered with the community thru music festivals, events, social influencer’s and schools as venues to spread peace. We worked with educators to create a K-12 Peace Paper school curriculum, and launched a national PR and marketing push for International Day of Peace. Events at Hopkins West Junior High and other elementary schools fostered conversations about peace, tolerance, collaboration and the power of positive action, and provided powerful creative elements for students to express themselves. We partnered with Minnesota Center for Book Arts to create a community art installation that was made from over 2,000 origami birds folded by the community thru fun workshops.
