2,000 Origami Doves For Peace
Community Art Installation

In partnership with Minnesota Center for Book Arts, we invited the community to join us to create an interactive art installation made from 2,000 origami doves. We hosted multiple workshops where people were invited to come together in folding origami doves to represent peace while connecting with others. The origami birds were folded from Peace Paper which is wrapping paper with messages of peace and inspiration that was created from a larger initiative of inviting people to draw their expression of peace.

The 2,000 paper birds were crafted into a large interactive art installation that hung within the Minnesota Center for Book Arts.

The multiple day event was a success, inviting everyone in the community to come walk thru the origami bird installation, enjoy food trucks and connect with their neighbors.
